Real Money Online Table Games

If you have ever set foot in a casino, you know how seductive the slot machine games can be. There are no rules or no strategy to learn before you hit the jackpot at the slot machine. The simplicity and accessibility makes playing slots infinitely less intimidating. But those machines rarely offer the odds casino table games can.

For the uninitiated, a casino table game is any game that are played on a table and operated by one or more live dealers. This includes games like Blackjack, roulette, craps, three card poker, baccarat, pai gow, etc. And you are doing your wallet a disservice every time you don’t at least play a hand or two because casino table games are typically your best chance at winning. All it takes is a little bit of practice and you’ll be in a position to start getting the most out of your online casino experience.

Lucky for you, there’s never been a better time to learn how to play casino table games while winning real money right in the comfort of your own home. Our online casino offers a full slate of real money casino table games for players of any budget or experience level. If you want to bet and stand a real chance of beating the house, the best way to do it is by creating an account and play our real money casino table games today. A few of the real money casino table games we offer include…

Real Money Blackjack

By far one of the most popular casino table games around the world because it’s easy to play and it also offers some of the best odds for players of any experience level. Winning a hand of real money blackjack is really as simple beating the dealer’s card total without going over 21.

Players and the dealer each receive two cards. Depending on the cards you are dealt, you can either stand (end your turn), hit (take another card, or however many you need to get a winning total), double (double your bet and take only one more card), split (turn a pair into two separate hands) or surrender (forfeit half your bet).

With a ton of variations on this classic casino table game, our real money Blackjack tables are always lively. Perfect for players of any skill level, find the variation of Blackjack you like best and start taking advantage of the best odds our online casino has to offer.

Real Money Roulette

Uk casino table games website One of the most popular table games in history, the game first appeared in the 17th century when French mathematician Blaise Pascal was trying to invent a perpetual motion machine. And while he was unsuccessful in his quest for perpetual motion, his wheel mechanism was the foundation for the game we know and love today.

Whether you play in a brick-and-mortar casino or online, a real money roulette wheel consists of numbers 1 to 36, alternately colored red and back, plus a green 0 and 00. The dealer or croupier spins the wheel and then spins a ball in the opposite direction. Players must predict where the ball will stop to win.

There are two basic kinds of bets a player can place in real money roulette: inside bets and outside bets. Inside bets are all located on the inner section of the table. So if you want to put a chip on a single number, that’s an inside bet. You can bet straight up, split, corner, five or line. Outside bets offer lower payouts because you have a better chance at winning. Rather than betting on specific numbers, you’re betting on broader categories like certain kinds of number like color, odd or even, low or high.

As far as casino table games go, roulette is typically seen as the most intimidating, but after a few spins on our real money roulette tables, you’re bound to get the hang of it and realize it’s nothing to be afraid. Especially if you collect one of the many amazing bonuses our tables have to offer.

Real Money Craps

Another casino table games that beginners are typically too intimidated to try is craps. This is a shame because, it’s not just easy to understand, it’s pretty easy to win. Best of all, real money craps also offers you a chance to win alongside other players, creating a unique and fun atmosphere in both land and online casinos.

All you need to know before playing real money craps is that one of the players at the table rolls two dice. If the two dice total seven or eleven, everyone who placed a “Pass Line” bet--which means that you’ve backed the shooter--wins even money. If the shooter rolls a total of two, three or twelve, the house collects.

Should the shooter roll a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, the dealer or croupier marks your point. Once the point is established, what the shooter needs to do is roll the dice once more and hit the same number again. It doesn’t have to be the same combination, just the same sum. So, if you shoot the dice, hit an eight with two fours, you can still win if you hit an eight with a five and a three.

When you’re not shooting, you can place bets on the pass line or don’t pass line. The pass line bet means you bet the shooter will roll a natural or by winning the point. Don’t pass, as you might have already guessed, is the opposite. You can also place come or don’t come bets. Come bet wins if a natural is rolled out and loses if the craps are. Don’t come bets means you’re rooting for a 2 or 3.

Simple, right? You’re now ready to play real money craps! Even online, craps is the most fast-paced and thrilling casino table games and our online casino has a spot at our tables wherever you are.

Real Money Baccarat

You may remember baccarat from James Bond movies, but you don’t have to be a member of Her Majesty’s Secret Service to play this classic casino table game. Even though baccarat is thought of as a table game reserved for the highest rollers, this shouldn’t deter newcomers from trying it because it’s a lot easier than popular movies may have led you to believe.

Basically, the players select whether to back another player’s hand, the banker’s hand or a tie. The winning hand is whichever one adds up closest to nine. In a standard baccarat hand, the banker and the player are dealt two cards each. Cards two through nine are face value, while a 10, jack, queen and kings have a value of zero. Aces are worth one. If a hand total is more than 10, the second digit of the hand’s total is discarded. For example, two sevens, which is a total of fourteen, makes a four-point hand.

In most baccarat table games, betting on the banker’s hand pays 95 percent of your wager. Backing the player’s hand means you could double what you bet.

And that’s it! The only thing for you to do now is to try this classic and refined casino table game for yourself at one of our many baccarat tables online.

Real Money Three Card Poker

First created in 1994, three card poker was invented to satisfy the need for a version of poker that was played at the speed of other casino table games. The combination of speed, luck, strategy, skill and simplicity has made real money three card poker one of the most popular table games in our online casino.

Unlike most versions of poker, the player isn’t going head-to-head against other players. It’s more like Blackjack in that the objective is to beat the dealer. You start by making an ante bet. Then the dealer gives each player and themselves three cards. The dealer’s cards are face down and the player is only permitted to look at their own cards. Once the player has assessed their hand, they must either fold or call.

The dealer needs at least a queen to “qualify.” If the dealer doesn’t have at least a queen high or better to play, all players are paid 1-to-1 odds on their ante bets and they can take back their “Play” bets. If the dealer does have at least a queen high, your hands will go head-to-head to determine the winner.

  • Flush. All three cards are of the same suit.
  • Straight. All three cards fall in sequential order.

  • Straight flush. All three cards of the same suit in sequential order.

Real Money Pai Gow

Originally a Chinese game that uses a set of 32 dominoes, this casino table game version of pai gow uses a standard deck of 52 cards plus one joker. Like our other real money casino table games, the objective of the game is to beat the dealer, who is more commonly referred to as the banker in real money pai gow games.

To beat the banker, players must make two poker hands with the seven cards that they are dealt: a five-card high hand and a two-card low hand. Your high hand must beat your low hand. So, if you’re dealt a flush and a pair, your flush would become your high hand and the pair would be your low hand.

Once your high and low hands are set, the dealer reveals them along the banker’s hands. There are three possible outcomes once the hands are revealed:

  • The player wins both hands and wins their bet.
  • The dealer wins both hands and the player loses their bet.
  • The player wins one hand and the dealer wins the other. In this case, no money is exchanged.

In Pai Gow, ties go to the dealer.

You’re almost ready to play this casino table game. The only thing we’d recommend you do before you try one of our many real money Pai Gow games is that you brush up on your poker hand rankings. Once you never have to second-guess whether a full house beats a flush (it does) or if a flush beats a straight (again, it does), you’re ready to start winning at this exciting evolution of a classic Chinese table game.

Introduction

The house edge is defined as the ratio of the average loss to the initial bet. In some games the beginning wager is not necessarily the ending wager. For example in blackjack, let it ride, and Caribbean stud poker, the player may increase their bet when the odds favor doing so. In these cases the additional money wagered is not figured into the denominator for the purpose of determining the house edge, thus increasing the measure of risk. For games like Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em and Crazy 4 Poker, where there are two required initial wagers, the house edge is based on one of them only. House edge figures are based on optimal or near-optimal player strategy.

The table below shows the house edge of most popular casino games and bets.

Guide to House Edge

The reason that the house edge is relative to the original wager, not the average wager, is that it makes it easier for the player to estimate how much they will lose. For example if a player knows the house edge in blackjack is 0.6% he can assume that for every $10 wager original wager he makes he will lose 6 cents on the average. Most players are not going to know how much their average wager will be in games like blackjack relative to the original wager, thus any statistic based on the average wager would be difficult to apply to real life questions.

The conventional definition can be helpful for players determine how much it will cost them to play, given the information they already know. However the statistic is very biased as a measure of risk. In Caribbean stud poker, for example, the house edge is 5.22%, which is close to that of double zero roulette at 5.26%. However the ratio of average money lost to average money wagered in Caribbean stud is only 2.56%. The player only looking at the house edge may be indifferent between roulette and Caribbean stud poker, based only the house edge. If one wants to compare one game against another I believe it is better to look at the ratio of money lost to money wagered, which would show Caribbean stud poker to be a much better gamble than roulette.

Many other sources do not count ties in the house edge calculation, especially for the Don’t Pass bet in craps and the banker and player bets in baccarat. The rationale is that if a bet isn’t resolved then it should be ignored. I personally opt to include ties although I respect the other definition.

Element of Risk

For purposes of comparing one game to another I would like to propose a different measurement of risk, which I call the 'element of risk.' This measurement is defined as the average loss divided by total money bet. For bets in which the initial bet is always the final bet there would be no difference between this statistic and the house edge. Bets in which there is a difference are listed below.

Standard Deviation

The standard deviation is a measure of how volatile your bankroll will be playing a given game. This statistic is commonly used to calculate the probability that the end result of a session of a defined number of bets will be within certain bounds.

The standard deviation of the final result over n bets is the product of the standard deviation for one bet (see table) and the square root of the number of initial bets made in the session. This assumes that all bets made are of equal size. The probability that the session outcome will be within one standard deviation is 68.26%. The probability that the session outcome will be within two standard deviations is 95.46%. The probability that the session outcome will be within three standard deviations is 99.74%. The following table shows the probability that a session outcome will come within various numbers of standard deviations.

I realize that this explanation may not make much sense to someone who is not well versed in the basics of statistics. If this is the case I would recommend enriching yourself with a good introductory statistics book.

Hold

Although I do not mention hold percentages on my site the term is worth defining because it comes up a lot. The hold percentage is the ratio of chips the casino keeps to the total chips sold. This is generally measured over an entire shift. For example if blackjack table x takes in $1000 in the drop box and of the $1000 in chips sold the table keeps $300 of them (players walked away with the other $700) then the game's hold is 30%. If every player loses their entire purchase of chips then the hold will be 100%. It is possible for the hold to exceed 100% if players carry to the table chips purchased at another table. A mathematician alone can not determine the hold because it depends on how long the player will sit at the table and the same money circulates back and forth. There is a lot of confusion between the house edge and hold, especially among casino personnel.

The following table shows the average hands per hour and the house edge for comp purposes various games. The house edge figures are higher than those above, because the above figures assume optimal strategy, and those below reflect player errors and average type of bet made.
